A Structured Youth Development Program

The Fort Lauderdale Kappa League uses a specialized approach to youth development built around student ownership, learning, real-world experience, accountability, and exposure to new opportunities.
Leaguers take an active role in their own growth. They complete assignments and challenges, build practical skills, work toward academic and program goals, and take responsibility for their work, decisions, and progress.
Our program has two tracks: Scholarship and Fellowship. The Scholarship Track provides the full core Kappa League experience. The Fellowship Track includes everything in Scholarship, plus additional hands-on experiences for Leaguers who have the time and are ready for the added commitment.
Scholarship Track
The Core Kappa League Experience
The Scholarship Track provides the full core Fort Lauderdale Kappa League experience while allowing students to balance Kappa League with school, sports, work, and other activities.
Leaguers attend our monthly KLASS sessions and complete assignments, challenges, service, and other program requirements throughout the year.
The Scholarship experience is built around eight questions that guide a Leaguer's development throughout the program.

Fellowship Track
Learning Through Experience
The Fellowship Track includes everything in the Scholarship Track, plus additional hands-on programs and experiences.
Fellows may participate in competitions, simulations, STEM programs, camps, travel, and other special experiences throughout the year. Because Fellowship includes more activities, it requires a greater time commitment and strong academic standing.
Scholarship builds the foundation. Fellowship creates more opportunities to put it into practice.

Within this private area, users can view the full events calendar, make payments for dues and event fees, download important documents, and track each Leaguer’s standing in the program. This section supports transparent communication, streamlined operations, and active engagement for all members.
