In partnership with Broward Partnership, the Kappa League Presidential Team will assist with meal prep, serving, and clean-up. Their presence will help create a welcoming environment where those experiencing homelessness can enjoy a nutritious meal with dignity.
In partnership with Broward Community and Family Health Centers, Inc., Kappa Leaguers will assist with back-to-school supply distribution, wellness education, and health screenings during the annual Health Fair.
Kappa League Day of Action: Awareness in Action
Kappa Leaguers kicked off the school year in service to the community. At the Broward Community & Family Health Center in Lauderhill, Leaguers helped power the Back-to-School Health Fair; setting up, distributing book bags and meals, passing out flyers, and making sure families were fully prepped with supplies and health assessments for the 2025–2026 school year.
At the same time, our Presidential Team stepped into another vital role by serving lunch at the Broward Partnership to families and individuals facing homelessness. It wasn’t just about giving, it was about listening, learning, and understanding the challenges right here in our own neighborhoods.
This is what we mean by “Awareness in Action”. It’s not just talking about issues, but being part of the solution.
